CompostingThe most common way to compost organic material into usable fertilizer is to make use of the naturally occurring microbes to use the material as food and energy. This is an optional step but will yield faster results. Be sure to add certain organic matter only, such as yard waste, paper, cardboard, and certain food scraps for this kind of composting. These red worms are usually sold at fish and bait shops or at pet stores, these worms will not be like the worms you have in your garden.

Compost can be a great natural fertilizer for your garden, it eliminates the amount of waste you throw away and give the soil the nutrients it needs to produce lush healthy plants.
